A Karachi-born artist who graduated from Indus Valley School and recently completed his MFA Research at National Art School, Sydney. His practice addresses socio-political realities using custom-made inks from natural pigments, watercolor, silkscreen, and Japanese enamel. Describing his approach as “brutal positivism,” he recognizes facts without excitement, creating work that expresses what it’s like to be alive in changing times. His internationally exhibited work explores society’s hidden truths through multi-stranded searches for meaning.
