Born in 2001, Rija graduated from NCA with a textile design degree in 2024, pioneering Kalamkari art in Pakistan. Her work translates Lahore’s landscape, capturing magnificent architecture, people, and activities. Using traditional hand-painted Kalamkari technique with natural dyes, she bridges historical Lahore with the bustling metropolis of today. Currently creative head at Lahore Carpet, she promotes sustainable art practices while portraying cultural literacy through architectural narratives.
